Naharin's renowned creation from 2001 makes use of the great Austrian playwright Peter Handke's Offending the Audience in order to explore the scope of language by its boundaries. Naharin created this piece in collaboration with Batsheva dancers and with Karni Postel as musical consultant. Original music by Postel herself, Habib Alla Jamal and Shama Khader. In 2003 Naharin received the Bessie award for Virus.
"Naharin’s creative freedom is enviable. Aware of every emotional and physical nuance, his choreography is free of restraints" (Ha’aretz, 2001)
